What I Do
At Words Para Todos, I help legal professionals communicate clearly and confidently with their Spanish-speaking clients through professional legal interpreting and practical language access training.
Whether you need an interpreter for a single attorney-client meeting, ongoing support through a recurring interpreting package, or guidance on working more effectively with interpreters, my goal is to strengthen communication between you and your client so you can focus on your legal objectives and the work of representing your client.
In addition to interpreting, I teach attorneys and legal professionals how to work confidently and efficiently with interpreters—both in person and virtually. My workshops provide practical strategies for communicating through interpreters, managing remote proceedings, and fostering meaningful understanding across languages.
Beyond being a legal requirement, language access is an essential part of effective representation. When clients fully understand the legal process and can communicate clearly with their attorney, it strengthens trust, supports informed decision-making, and helps ensure every client has the opportunity to be heard and understood.

After years of interpreting in different sectors, I expanded Words Para Todos to include education for professionals who work with interpreters, because I believe that everyone deserves to be understood. I saw how much smoother—and fairer—things can be when professionals in all fields know how to work with interpreters, not just around them.
For me, it all comes down to access, equity, and doing what’s right. When communication flows easily, everyone’s job gets easier—and achieving more becomes possible.
Through my workshops for attorneys, I help legal professionals build confidence in handling interpreted cases, reduce barriers for Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, and make the process more human for everyone involved.
I am enthusiastic about bringing this training to professionals outside of the legal sector as well—from education to healthcare to event coordinators—and also about the launch of my workshops for interpreters on professionalism in remote environments.
Curious, passionate, and always learning, I believe language should never stand in the way of understanding—and I'm on a mission to make sure it doesn’t!
